Residency in Theriogenology
This two-year residency program at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (UFCVM) will provide advanced clinical training focused on canine reproduction, with comparative species incorporated to a lesser degree. This will include clinical proficiency in male and female pre-breeding genetic and general health soundness evaluations, breeding management, pregnancy diagnosis and monitoring, male and female disease diagnosis and treatment, and management of dystocia. The goal of the small animal reproductive service is to provide multi-faceted reproduction services, for breeders of purpose-bred dogs, as well as services for the general public.
