South Texas Veterinary Clinic is looking for a talented mixed animal veterinarian to expand our emergency services!
We serve the small town of Beeville, Texas, which is located 1.5 hours south of San Antonio and 1 hour north of Corpus Christi. We are the closest emergency clinic for a wide range of rural communities and are searching for a DVM who is confident in emergency situations. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience with large and small animals.
We currently operate Monday – Friday and half-days on Saturday. As an emergency DVM, you will provide Saturday coverage (8am-noon) and remain available throughout the weekend for animal emergencies as they arise.
We will provide competitive compensation and a flat fee for Sunday on-call services, regardless if calls are taken or not. We also have fantastic large animal technicians who will be eager to assist you during any ER situation that arises.
We are open to local candidates or individuals who would like to commute in. If you live outside of the area, we will provide a hotel room for 2 nights each weekend.
Veterinarians best fit for the role will be comfortable with the following:
Bovine - Pulling Calves
Wound Care for large & small animals
Diagnosing and stabilizing critical patients both large & small animals
