Rotating Equine Externship-Taking 2023 and 2024 applications
The program at Rhinebeck Equine will provide veterinary students an opportunity for an in-depth clinical experience in a referral hospital and full-service ambulatory practice. The clinic is staffed by specialists in surgery, internal medicine, theriogenology, reproduction, ophthalmology and dermatology as well as experienced ambulatory practitioners. The practice is committed to providing the student with a rewarding clinical educational experience. The scope and depth of any hands-on experience will vary with the maturity, aptitude, clinical skills, and “common sense” of each extern. The student’s primary responsibilities will involve assisting the interns, specialists, and technicians with the evaluation, diagnostics, management, and care of hospital patients, as well as participatin
