The Veterinarian will provide expertise to assure humane care and treatment of the animal population used in the development of implantable devices, biomaterials, and/or biotherapeutic treatments at an AAALAC-accredited research facility. This will include recommendations and implementation of accepted standards pertaining to animal husbandry, preventative medicine, experimental surgery, anesthesia, analgesia, diagnosis, and treatment of health problems.  The position reports to the Director, Medical Group at Medtronic Physiological Research Laboratories (PRL).
