The Department of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, located in Ames, Iowa, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will join a department with active research programs in pharmacology, animal behavior, neurobiology, infectious disease and cell/molecular biology.   This is a full-time, 9-month position with salary commensurate with qualifications. The successful candidate will establish a dynamic, extramurally funded research program within physiology or a complementary field pertinent to human and/or animal health. The successful candidate will teach physiology courses to professional and/or graduate students and mentor graduate students.
