Mixed Associate Veterinarian:

• Work 4-5 days a week Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm
• Strictly SA Associate you will see companion animals, exotics and pocket pets
• Mixed Associate you will see those above along with small ruminant, equine and other farm animals.
• Paired with a well-trained veterinary assistant (VA) and mentoring.
• Digital health records and billing using NEO, integrates with IDEXX.
• Exams wellness and sick pet, traditional and non-traditional medicine, diagnostics, dentistry (basic-challenging, extractions, root canals, restorations), surgery (spays, neuters, lumpectomies, exploratories, amputations, orthopedic if interested in more training), health certificates, end of life evaluations and euthanasia.
• Design, and implement treatment protocols, senior clinician will work with you initially.
• On surgery days perform surgeries under the guidance of a mentor, if desired.
• Minimal after hour emergencies, receptionists do all scheduling, you and your VA do consultation notes, finalize the bill and check out, the receptionist handles payments. 
• Rounds with discussion of the day’s cases.  You will lead these, brief and to the point.
• Shelter medicine program, assist with Feline TNVR spay/neuter clinics, 2 per year, this is usually on a Saturday 1 spring, 1 fall, pd $50/hr.
• Monthly health tidbit that will be put on facebook our website and the local paper

NEW Clinic 2020, 4040 sq ft, reception area, 3 exam rms, pharmacy, treatment area 3 bays (dental, triage, surgery prep), laboratory area , laundry rm with dog wash/grate cleaning sink, designated radiology/ultrasound area, surgery-2 tables, surgery pack prep room with pass thru and a surgeon hand sink, autoclave, and surgery supplies cabinets.
2. We see a variety of animals, typical pets, exotics, small ruminants, pet pigs and equine.
3. IDEXX IH, VETSCAN IMAGYST™ is a first-of-its-kind technology, offering AI fecal analysis, AI blood smear analysis and digital cytology image transfer in a single platform, Microscope that hooks to computer, Digital dental and portable radiology, 2-USD machines, 2-Gas Anesthesia-Iso machines
4. Neo practice management software available on all computers, paper free.
5. Wards:  sound proof dog rm, Cat rm and Isolation rm
6. Large breakroom with a fridge with provided snacks, cold and hot beverages, lockers, 2 employee and 1 customer ADA bathroom.  2 offices and a store room.
7. We have another 1500 sq ft building that could eventually be an equine/small ruminant clinic or some other expansion.  You are not expected to do this unless it is an interest. 
8. 1 Doctor/owner, 8 employees: 2 receptionists, 4 vet assistants, 1 IH bookkeeper, 1 CPA
9. 2 part-time contract doctors

Grangeville, Idaho is a small town with a big culture. The population is currently around 3,141 persons.  Many residents have family ties dating back 125 years, when Grangeville was founded in 1897.  Others have moved here because our community is safe, friendly and a wonderful area for raising kids or a great place to retire and that adds up to a lot of really loved pets.

Grangeville is the hub of the agriculturally rich Camas Prairie. It sits adjacent to the Nez Perce National Forest and Frank Church Wilderness area.  The ever-changing scenery is always interesting as we have 4 distinct seasons.  The diverse seasons offer hiking, horseback riding, ATV'ing, snowmobiling and other outdoor recreation in the Nez Perce National Forest.  For the snow enthusiasts close by are the Brundage and Bald Mountain ski areas along with our local ski and tubing hill, we also have groomed cross country and snowshoeing trails.  For water enthusiasts, within 15-30 minutes of Grangeville you can be at the Salmon River to the south and the South Fork of the Clearwater River to the East and a little further you can be on the Snake river to the west. These rivers offer amazing steelhead fishing, jetboating and rafting. 

Grangeville is 3 hours from Spokane, and 4 hours from Missoula, and Boise.  1hr 15 min from Lewiston and Clarkston Washington.  2hr from Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital and the University of Idaho.

The area offers a more relaxed way of life where people are friendly, kind and courteous and the community is safe to raise a family.  The folks that choose to live here are practical but yet they really love their pets and trust Tolo Veterinary Clinic to provide their pets with quality medical care!

Tolo Veterinary Clinic, owned and operated by Dr. Kimberly Wolfrum WSU '99'. She and her husband moved here in 2000. We are located in North Central Idaho on the beautiful Camas Prairie at the foothills of the Nez Perce Natl Forest in the town of Grangeville. We serve all of Idaho County and it's 16,494 residents. We are a thriving and growing progressive and modern veterinary clinic that values team work and family. We are seeking an individual that loves helping pets and their people and wants to be part of the team, but still values time to enjoy family and life.
