We provide the highest level of patient care and client service by treating every patient as if they were our own and taking care of each other. Orting Animal Hospital is a brand-new small animal general practice hospital that opened in January last year in Orting, WA. Our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility offers six large exam rooms, a two-table surgery suite, a radiology suite, a large treatment area with six tables, employee break room, and a well-appointed doctor’s office for calls and charts.
 
At Orting Animal Hospital, you will have a great work/life balance with a flexible work schedule. You will also have the freedom and support to develop your professional interests. We have recruited a “dream team” staff ready to support you. Love surgery? We love that you love surgery, and we will support you in furthering your surgical talents. More interested in dentistry, internal medicine, acupuncture, or something else? We love these too and will provide support for additional knowledge and training you may want in these areas and beyond. We have all of the great tools you want – digital whole body and dental radiology, ultrasound, in house blood analyzers, and fully paperless medical records on a cloud-based system.

Our substantial pay and benefits package includes guaranteed base plus production (without negative accruals), signing bonus, 401K with company match, health/dental insurance, relocation assistance, PTO for vacation and holidays, paid sick time, generous CE budget, state and DEA licenses, and professional membership dues just to name a few. The Associate DVM will have clinical responsibility for the care of patients in all areas.

Skills and Basic Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • 1+ years of clinical experience in multi DVM practice.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Washington state (Or ability to obtain one).
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
  • Make decisions confidently and effectively.
  • Manages time and tasks appropriately.
  • Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
  • Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
  • Strong surgical and dental skills are preferred.
