About us
With two locations just 20 minutes apart in Independence and Fort Thomas, we provide a comprehensive range of services from routine examinations and preventive medicine to more complex diagnostics and treatment or surgery plans. We are fear-free certified.
Our high touch approach as patient advocates is focused on achieving the best medical options in context with each owner’s individual circumstances. Client education is paramount in achieving our patient outcomes and we make time to effectively provide clients with in-depth explanations of the available options without being overwhelming. All team members are empowered to make appropriate decisions or seek collaborative input from others where necessary.

Our location
We are proud to have two Northern Kentucky locations. Our practice began in our Independence clinic more than a decade ago, and two years ago we opened our completely renovated Fort Thomas location.

About this role
The key skills held by talented general practitioners that are particularly relevant to this opportunity:
You develop treatment plans based on sound diagnostic practices and established protocols with room for innovation where appropriate
You have sound routine soft tissue surgical skills. An interest in expanding into orthopedics will be nurtured
You believe that prevention is always an ideal starting point and you can tailor plans that ensure owner and patient compliance
You have a keen interest in dentistry that includes radiology and prophylaxis
You understand the commercial realities of running a successful practice and you are prepared to contribute to our continued growth

Veterinary Medical Center of Independence was founded in October of 2009 with the purchase of Kindred Spirits Veterinary Hospital. It has experienced steady growth. Ten years later, a second location was founded in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
