ABOUT THE ROLE: Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) is seeking a Shelter Veterinarian to work with our team of veterinarians, technicians and support staff/volunteers in providing the most effective medical care to our rescue animals, as well as efficient communications regarding these cases. APA! has become one of the country’s No-Kill leaders by innovating and maintaining programs, in turn, lending Austin the title of the largest No-Kill city in the nation. This position plays an important role in maximizing the number of lives that APA! is able to save by providing quality medical care in a cost and time effective manner. This position will consist of both work at the APA! Main shelter location, as well as traveling to other shelters in need of help.
