We are looking for positive energy, passion, and up to date skills in Clearwater, FL. If you are a veterinarian with strong people skills who has a passion for developing a rapport with clients to determine their needs and to provide empathetic care for the pets, we want to talk. If you are someone who will flourish in a teamwork driven environment, and someone who understands the value of teamwork in a veterinary setting then we want to talk. Our hospital has transitioned to a new owning doctor, and she is passionate about the future growing our small animal and exotics practice. We have recruited the best support staff around and built partnership with specialists in the area. Now we are looking to add on 2 doctors, which will be fully booked with appointments from day 1 because of the long history and client base of the hospital.

You will have day plans that set you up for success and leaving on time. You will have new dental suite, ultrasound, Xray, and inhouse diag tools available and a wide variety of pharmacy options in house to give the best care possible plus easy online pharmacy ordering.
Responsibilities include:
Perform routine medical examinations, diagnose health concerns, communicate medical findings clearly to the client
Work closely with each client to create a treatment plan they are comfortable with, while also advocating for the health and quality of life of the pet
Show compassion, empathy, and understanding to our clients
Provide our clients with the knowledge and education needed to maintain the health of their pet
Treat each patient humanely, ethically, and with compassion
Perform routine and specialized surgeries, seeking advice and assistance when necessary from other team doctors
Wound care
Properly use medical equipment to help diagnose your patients’ medical needs
Maintain proper medical records through chart documentation
Relay pertinent information to the rest of the staff clearly, accurately, and professionally to ensure proper care of each patient is executed.
Promote a positive work environment by contributing to the core value that that our hospital functions as a unit and are all working towards a common goal
Job Requirements
DVM degree from an accredited university
A state board license (or able to obtain one) in good standing
Capability of working in a fast-paced practice
Passion for patient/client care and for executing ethical medical treatment
