Flexible

• Need to schedule around home requirements/responsibilities? Don't we all! We always work hard to make sure people are working the schedule that makes them happy...happy employees=happy clients=happy clinic. 
• Typical schedule is 9:30-5pm 4 days a week and every other Sat (9am-1pm) but can be adjusted. Will consider PT as well

Medicine

• SA GP practice that sees dogs, cats and occasional exotics to keep it fun! (If the idea of exotics is alarming...no worries, our other doctors will see them)    
• Digital xrays, dental xrays, Idexx in house lab, high speed dental
• Surgeries include dentistry, electives and soft tissue surgeries. We will tailor this to the comfort level of the applicant.  We have several near by ERs and specialty practices that can be referred to for any procedures outside of our comfort zone. 
• We are always trying to improve and review our procedures and techniques

About The Vet Clinic East

We are a privately owned SA general practice serving southeast Columbus pet owners for over 40 years. We are a multidoctor practice with current doctors and staff that have been with the practice for over 10 to 20 years (ie...happy staff and low turn over!). We have over 20 support staff on our friendly team. We love our clients and they love us but we also support work/home balance. If you want to go out with the team for fun and food or join our clinic book club...great! If however, you want to leave work at work and decompress at home with no extra work obligations, that is fine too! We let our people be themselves and encourage kindness, support and respect. We close at 5pm on weekdays to allow time at home with family and friends. Typical doctor schedule is 4 days a week and every other Sat (9am-1pm) but we encourage flexibility and will consider alternative schedules or part-time schedules as well. We have digital xray, digital dental xray, in-house lab, tonometry, computerized medical records, Smartflow and Televet etc. We encourage referral and have a great relationship with our fellow ERs and specialists. We also have grooming and boarding but have dedicated staff members ...to take care of those areas. We enjoy mentoring and are willing to consider all levels of experience. If you are looking for a work home where you can be yourself and feel supported, seen and heard, then we may very well be a good match!
