Our modern facility is located in North Central Idaho on the beautiful Camas Prairie next to the foothills of the Nez Perce National Forest and the Frank Church Wilderness. The area is rich in industries related to the forest services, firefighting, mining, logging, farming, ranching and outfitting. The ever-changing scenery is always interesting as we have 4 distinct seasons. We are also at the foothills of the mountains that offer hunting, hiking, horseback or snowmobiling. There are also major rivers like the Salmon, Clearwater and the Snake that offer steelhead fishing, jetboating and rafting.

Grangeville is the hub of the agriculturally rich Camas Prairie. It sits adjacent to the Nez Perce National Forest and Frank Church Wilderness area. The ever-changing scenery is always interesting as we have 4 distinct seasons. The diverse seasons offer hunting, hiking, horseback riding, skiing or snowmobiling in the Nez Perce National Forest, the Seven Devils Mountains of The Hells Canyon or the Battle Field near White Bird. Within 15-30 minutes of Grangeville you can be at the Salmon River to the south and the South Fork of the Clearwater River to the East. These rivers offer steelhead fishing, jetboating and rafting.
Grangeville is 4 hours from Spokane, Missoula, and Boise. 1hr 15 min from Lewiston and Clarkston Washington. 2hr from Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital and the University of Idaho.

SA AssociateVeterinarian:
Work 4-5 days a week Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm
Companion animals, exotics and pocket pets, small ruminant pets
Paired with a well-trained veterinary assistant (VA) and mentoring.
Digital health records and billing using NEO, integrates with IDEXX.
Exams wellness and sick pet, traditional and non-traditional medicine, diagnostics, dentistry (basic-challenging, extractions, root canals, restorations), surgery (spays, neuters, lumpectomies, exploratories, amputations, orthopedic if interested in more training), health certificates, end of life evaluations and euthanasia.
Design, and implement treatment protocols, senior clinician will work with you initially.
On surgery days you can perform surgeries under the guidance of our surgeon
Minimal after hour emergencies, receptionists do all scheduling, you and your VA do consultation notes, finalize the bill and check out, the receptionist handles payments.
Rounds with discussion of the day’s cases. You will lead these, brief and to the point.
Shelter medicine program, assist with Feline TNVR spay/neuter clinics, 2 per year, this is usually on a Saturday 1 spring, 1 fall, pd $50/hr.
