Agwest Veterinary Group are currently looking for an experienced full-time Equine Veterinarian to join our highly reputed team in our premier showcase clinic and hospital located in Abbotsford, BC. We are looking for someone with a forward-thinking attitude focused on teamwork, client support, and who brings a passion for the equine community. Agwest encourages our team members to continually grow professionally and to develop their areas of interest. This position entails delivering both in-clinic and ambulatory veterinary services providing both routine and emergency primary care to a variety of breeds. We provide therapeutic and preventative veterinary services for clientele including a mixture of sport, performance, pleasure horses, and broodmares.
Preference for 2+ years DVM in good standing however we will consider new graduates
Enthusiasm to work in a growing practice –Exposure to reproductive medicine vices is an asset, but not necessary
Excellent communication skills, people skills and emotional intelligence
Strong professionalism, judgement, problem solving attention to detail and conflict management skills
Desire to practice Gold Standard medicine AND have a “Say at the Table”
