Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center and Urgent Care boasts one of the largest, privatelyowned general practices in the bay area with a bustling urgent care service tosupport emergent pet needs. Our externship program is available to 3rd and 4th year veterinary students through1-4 week rotations. Externs will be given the opportunity to shadow veterinariansthrough wellness, sick and urgent care appointments. They will develop problemlists, diagnostic and treatment plans. This allows students to observe clientinteractions and the importance of building client relationships while gaining a betterunderstanding of a comprehensive approach to patient care.
