About These Roles:

We are seeking to add a full time veterinarian to our current team of 2 full time and several part time general practice DVMs. Duties include general outpatient appointments and surgery as per your comfort level. A key part of this role is to establish continuity of care for previously hospitalized patients and/or patients with chronic health conditions. We believe that quality care is best achieved when a strong doctor- patient bond is formed. Scheduling is very flexible - we offer day, evening and weekend appointments to accommodate our clients needs while maintaining an excellent work-life balance for our staff. We have an outstanding support staff of licensed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants and customer service representatives that allow you to fully focus on what you do best- being a doctor!

We are also currently interviewing for our Urgent Care/ ER department. Duties for this position include the care and triage of Walk-In/ Urgent Care or emergencies, admission of transfers from other clinics for in-hospital care or surgery, emergency surgeries as per your comfort level, and care of hospitalized patients. As a 24-hour facility, shifts are very flexible allowing you to pursue your passion for medicine while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. A mix of GP and Urgent Care shifts is possible if desired.

Wilson Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, AAHA accredited small animal hospital. We provide general practice services, ER/ Urgent Care services, critical care/ hospitalization, soft tissue, orthopedic, arthroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries, CT scan, ultrasonography, endoscopy, rehabilitation with underwater treadmill, and full service canine reproduction. The founder, Dr. John Wilson, is board certified and several of our staff veterinarians are internship trained.
