UC Davis Chief Veterinary and Scientific Officer, Gorilla Doctors Program Salary Range: $7,858.33- $17,391.67/Month With an emphasis on capacity-strengthening and achievement of strategic goals, this position will help plan, lead and coordinate veterinary, technical and scientific elements of Gorilla Doctors, a program of the Karen C. Drayer Wildlife Health Center. The CVSO will: supervise and support (on site and remotely) Gorilla Doctors veterinary field teams based in Rwanda, Uganda and eastern DR Congo; provide guidance and input on gorilla (and other wildlife) clinical case management and diagnostics; develop Gorilla Doctors’ Health Research Plans for mountain and Grauer’s gorillas, and support Gorilla Doctors
