Function as a leader with a high degree of knowledge in the fields of DEI and student outreach. Manage programs, formulate strategy, and administer policies, process and resources in support of the school’s DEI mission. Conducts analyses of current structures, policies and systems in order to provide guidance to all levels of leadership with the School. The SVM Diversity and Outreach Officer is embedded in the Admissions and Student Programs team within the School of Veterinary Medicine Dean’s Office. The Diversity and Outreach Officer will work to diversify the pipeline of applicants to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) graduate program, which is the largest professional program at UC Davis with an annual enrollment of 600 professional students.
