 Overview:

Ark Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary clinic, with advanced surgical capabilities (TPLO, bone plating, PennHip Certified, advanced soft tissue sx). Staff includes 3.5 DVM’s and the schedule is a 4day -10hr, work week, for the most part, rotating on some Saturdays. Any cases in need of 24-hour care will be referred to their sister clinic facility only 6 miles away.

 Position Details: The Medical Director (MD) provides strategic direction, coaching, and mentoring to the associate veterinarians to ensure safe, consistent, efficient, therapeutic, and ethical patient care and outstanding client service. The MD will collaborate with the Practice Manager to develop a hospital's annual operating plan. The MD will be responsible for ensuring Clinic Revenue Targets are achieved and minimum Standards of Care are developed and complied with. The MD understands they will wear many hats and will be passionate about clinical excellence, leadership, recruiting, retention, and advocating for the growth of Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP).

 Requirements:

• Licensed OR Veterinarian (active and clear)

• Excellent, demonstrated medical and surgical skills are essential
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, DVMs, and teammates to build a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
• 3+ years’ DVM experience
• 1+ years of leadership experience desired but not required
