Under the direction of the Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery Service Chief, receive and manage cases on the soft tissue surgical service at the VMTH, including cases with a minimally invasive surgical focus and general internal surgical referrals. Consult on cases with a surgical focus in other clinical services in the VMTH and from referring veterinary hospitals. Participate in minimally invasive focused rounds (20/year). Participate in resident and veterinary student surgical training, including clinical instruction, laboratory instruction, weekly rounds, and board exam preparation. Perform clinical research in companion animal minimally invasive surgery and to present the findings at the Veterinary Endoscopy Society annual meeting. Rotate through the UCDMC surgical service in Sacramen
