Animal ER of University Park opened in November of 2003 to serve the people and pets of Manatee and Sarasota counties. Since then, we have been open every night, weekend, and holiday. Our highly experienced and well-utilized team supports our DVMs to practice the highest quality emergency medical and surgical care. You will enjoy collaborating with our ER DVMs and our in house Internal Medicine partner, Dr. Melissa Page. 

The Animal ER is a well-equipped facility with diagnostic, surgical and life-saving equipment, including the following:

• Ultrasound
• Endoscopy
• Modern surgical suite, including state of the art multi-parameter surgical monitoring system
• Doppler and PetMap blood pressure monitoring modalities
• Electrosurgery
• Digital Radiography
• Full IDEXX In House Lab Suite (CBC/Chem/Lytes/Coag/Blood Gas/Sedi-Vue Dx, ACTH Stim, and Bile Acids
