Kanab Veterinary Hospital in beautiful Southern Utah is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our amazing team!

Kanab is near the Utah/Arizona border, and KVH services patients from both UT and AZ. Located between five of the USA’s most beautiful national public lands, Kanab is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Though a small town, it offers all the amenities of a big city – including an ever-growing arts culture. 

Kanab Veterinary Hospital is a full-service clinic and treats both small and large animals. The hospital includes three exam rooms, a surgical suite, a newly renovated treatment room, a radiology suite, an on-site grooming salon, and will soon include a boarding facility!

KVH is dedicated to offering compassionate care through inpatient/outpatient procedures, wellness plans, and client education. Diagnostic tools include Digital Dental model with wireless plate, Idexx In-House laboratory equipment, Midmark dental machine, ultrasound, and Cornerstone software.

Competitive salary, production-based bonuses, paid licensing fees/organization dues, and allowances for CE complete the KVH package. 

Our team of owners, DVMs, and support staff work well together, and any new associate must have excellent communication skills, love working in a fast-paced environment, and embody the mission statement of KVH. An ideal candidate would have experience with both small and large animals, and would anticipate opportunities to further education in both areas. We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to add to our positive and outgoing team, and help our growing practice.

Must be a compassionate team player with excellent interpersonal skills, great medical skills and the confidence to work independently.   

Office Hours are 8am-5pm Monday - Friday. On-Call for emergencies after hours and weekends will be shared between the doctors on staff. During a typical week the DVM will have preventative medicine appointments, surgeries, injury/sick appointments, dental cleanings, and large animal calls.
