Virginia is for lovers – animal lovers!  Our beautiful, privately owned hospital located in the city of Fredericksburg is seeking to add two veterinarians to manage our rapid growth.

The Fredericksburg region is adding jobs at a faster pace than anywhere else in Virginia but not at the demise of our beautiful countryside.  The City of Fredericksburg has received statewide recognition for its environmental stewardship efforts.  The area is filled with history, art, music, museums, hiking trails and water activities.  Fill your cup on your days and weekends off with all the variety of things to do.

We are located in a growing middle to higher income area so most of our clients have income to provide the quality of care we offer.  We do support our clients with ways to afford the care we provide if they need options. After all, we are here to help animals and people.

One of our immediate goals is to become AAHA accredited and since we already practice to these standards we don’t have far to go.  We also focus on low stress patient handling and encourage “Happy Visits” for our patients.

Our hiring process is careful and selective.  We have worked hard to choose outstanding people as part of our team. Our Associate DVM’s will be as carefully picked.  The successful candidate will like medicine, patients and people and have the communication skills to share their knowledge and empathy equally.  Our team is involved in our hiring process, because their opinion matters, so expect them to ask some questions. 

Our doctors perform surgery/dentistry two days a week, see appointments for sick, urgent and well visits.  We have monthly paid wellness plans to help our clients afford excellent preventive care.  Dentistry is high on our list of importance.  We have all the equipment needed to support quality care such as digital x-ray, digital dental x ray, in house lab, surgical laser, and ultrasound.

Our staff includes LVT’s and highly experienced veterinary assistants properly leveraged to support the doctors. Our practice is paperless.  We have an app with a loyalty plan and an online pharmacy for our client’s convenience and to give our doctors the freedom to prescribe medications we don’t stock. 

Our associates receive

• $1500 in continuing education funds and 4 days off on top of vacation time to utilize for these events.
