Whether you are in the hospital or on a farm call you have a technician working beside you.  We are AAHA certified and practice Fear-Free methods of handling.  We are not corporate owned and have no plans to be.  Our full time doctors work 4 days per week average and receive above average compensation including health insurance, 401K w/ 6% match and paid vacations. Your work schedule can be flexible.  No On Call for SA Associates, every 5-6 days/weekends for Mixed.  You only cover ER's for LA patients.   You are welcome to speak with any of our associates or other teammates.  They will confirm that our hospital is a wonderful rarity.  Located on Florida's west coast 90 minutes from Gainesville, Orlando & Tampa. Our county offers many recreational activities, good schools, low crime and great quality of life; biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, golf and more. DVM degree with Florida license & federal accreditation.  Must have a good driving record and have Florida drivers license.

Skills required are a strong medical knowledge, proficiency in surgery, equine experience mandatory for mixed animal candidate, good communication skills and ability to work within a team based management environment.
