Turkey Creek Animal Hospital and Animal Wellness Center of Plant City are sister hospitals located near Tampa, Florida. We are looking for a part-time associate veterinarian to complete our busy, 5 DVM practice. The perfect candidate will show strong interest in practicing high quality medicine and wellness/ preventative care, while establishing lasting relationships with our clients and their pets.

At Turkey Creek, we offer our clients a high standard of care and believe in educating and partnering with them so they can make the best medical choices for their animals. Our highly skilled veterinary staff plays an integral role in providing excellent medical care to our patients and customer service to our clients. This AAHA-accredited hospital uses the Infinity management software, and features digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house CBC, Chemistry, and urinalysis machines, dental radiology and high-speed dental unit, surgical LASER and cold LASER therapy.

At Animal Wellness Center of Plant City, we perform solely wellness and preventative care four days a week, and have a low-cost spay/neuter clinic once a week.

The right individual should possess a positive, friendly attitude, a commitment to practice with competence and diligence, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and fellow veterinarians.  We are looking for this veterinarian to work 1 to 3 days a week, mostly seeing clinical cases, but there is an option for surgery shifts, if that candidate desires.

Plant City is an easy commute from Tampa, Brandon, Lakeland and many other desirable communities.

We offer a competitive salary with production bonus and benefit package:

• Guaranteed base salary, plus production-based bonus (current Full-time associates earn over $100,000 per year after bonus).
• 1-3 day work week with no emergency calls. Average 1 Saturday shift per month.
