Progressive and efficient small animal practice looking for a passionate part-time associate to join our quickly growing practice (will consider part-time for the right candidate). We strongly value work-life balance, and our entire team routinely finishes work and leaves for the day by close (6pm Monday-Thursday, 5pm Friday). After hours emergencies are referred to nearby 24-hour emergency and speciality hospitals. Owned by two practicing veterinarians and directly managed by the majority partner, we have a competent and friendly team with low staff turnover.

We are looking for an associate veterinarian with 1+ years of practice experience, PA licensure, and strong client communication skills. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, matching retirement plan, CE, and more. The expected schedule would include either 2-3 days per week and some Saturday mornings until noon, though our schedule is flexible. We are excited to mentor the right candidate, but you may be the only veterinarian at one of our practice locations 25-50% of your time so confidence in appointments for younger veterinarians is a must. Competent surgery/dental skills are a plus, but we are willing to mentor the right candidate and will also consider candidates that do not want to perform surgery. 

Our patient base is mostly dogs and cats, but we work with a pot-bellied pig rescue and see a few pocket pets, chickens, and small farm animals if that is of interest (but not necessary). Our client base is generally excellent and willing to follow our recommended treatment plans and refer to local referral centers when necessary. We ask our clients to respect our entire team and do not tolerate rude or aggressive behavior.

We offer a fully computerized record system with the capability to access the entire system remotely, allowing charts to be completed and lab results called from out of the office when needed. However, our staff is trained to confer with the doctor on staff when questions arise. Our facilities offer in-house blood work capabilities, advanced surgical and anesthetic monitoring equipment, digital radiology, ultrasound, cryotherapy, and cold laser therapy.
