We are looking for a cat loving full or part-time veterinarian at an established 3 doctor feline exclusive private practice in Norwalk, on the Connecticut shoreline. Fifty miles north of Manhattan, our town is full of fun and interesting places for singles and families, including beach, nature trails, amazing restaurants, shops, nightlife, and our famous Maritime Center.

We were founded in 1997, and in 2011 moved to our new 5000 square foot location custom designed by a veterinary specific engineering team.  We are AAHA accredited with paperless records, IDEXX DR digital radiology, and IDEXX in house CBC, chemistry, and electrolytes.  Other amenities include oxygen cage, endoscope, video otoscope, ultrasound, Dentalaire dental station, digital dental radiology, Summus therapy laser, Hot Dog Warming Blankets and Bair Hugger, Parks Doppler, Bionet anesthesia monitors and Heska IV pumps.  We are also open to suggestion, and will continue to involve our veterinarians and staff in future decisions to expand our diagnostic and treatment options.

There is ample opportunity for collaboration and support, but we also trust in allowing our doctors autonomy to practice their own medicine. We are fortunate to have passionate, skilled and resourceful team members.  Most of our support staff have been at A Cat’s Place for years, and all are devoted to high level patient care while providing a fear free experience.  We also have three local 24 hour speciality hospitals that allow for referral and support. 

The base salary is negotiable with added production based compensation.  We also offer excellent benefits including 3 weeks PTO, 1 week paid CE with generous stipend, medical/dental/vision, 401K, paid CT license and standard dues.
