Associate Veterinarian - Buckner Animal Clinic

Buckner Animal Clinic is an AAHA accredited practice located in east Dallas, TX. We are seeking to add a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian to our busy practice that strives to provide professional, timely attention to every animal that comes through our doors. We focus on work, life, and family balance.

For over 40 years, our staff has helped thousands of pets including, dogs and cats, live healthier, happier, and longer-lasting lives. Our clinic has an opportunity to serve exotics if you are interested in growing into this market. Your day-to-day as an Associate Veterinarian at Buckner Animal Clinic includes general practice, well and non-well case work-ups, a reasonable surgical caseload (spays, neuters, soft tissue, and other types), and dentistry.

Buckner offers digital dental radiography and ultrasound to its patients. Our collaborative doctors enjoy minor orthopedic surgery and would be excellent mentors.

As part of the PetWell team, we have access to veterinary professionals both locally and nationally, ranging in experience and skillset who are willing and committed to seeing growth for their peers. The support structure offers additional resources for medical cases, management issues, and cultural topics.

Requirements:

Must have DVM OR VMD from an AVMA accredited institution.
License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of clinic location.
Your veterinary license must be in good standing.
DEA licensure is preferred.
Must have enthusiasm for continued learning and improvement, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach.
Open to both recent graduates and experienced practitioners.
