Waverly Animal Hospital was established in 1962 and has been AAHA-accredited since 1970. Our mission it to serve through a responsive, dedicated, and communicative staff committed to individual attention and customer service. Our vision is to exceed the expectations of the client in each and every service we perform using our Core Values, in order to expertly care for the patient during all life stages. We express tenderness and a caring attitude to co-workers and clients equally. We are a supportive and fun team of 41 individuals with diverse backgrounds, knowledge, and experiences. We focus on employee engagement and actively promote a positive workplace culture through special activities and incentives.
Our equipment includes digital radiography with dental, ultrasonography, dedicated surgery & dental suites, IDEXX blood chemistry, IDEXX hematology, Idexx Sedivue, Cubex, dedicated wellness facility with therapeutic lasers, underwater treadmill, certified canine rehabilitation and acupuncture practitioners.
We are supportive and collaborative. We rotate duties for our veterinarians between outpatient care, surgical procedures, and dental procedures, so you'll never have the same day twice! We encourage and support the cultivation of your special interests.

REQUIREMENTS
State of Michigan Veterinary & Pharmacy licenses
Available 1 to 5 weekdays, 1-in-3 Saturdays, and 1-in-6 Sundays
This position has the flexibility to be full-time OR part-time
All levels of work experience in small animal practice will be considered
New graduates are encouraged to apply
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in orthopedic surgery, sonography, dentistry, acupuncture, or animal rehabilitation
NOTES:
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation can be salaried or production based depending on the applicant's preference. Production based earnings at the practice in 2020 were $80,000 to $113,000
