This position is a unique and tremendous opportunity to get one on one training from our senior surgeon who loves to mentor in surgery. We are closed on Saturday's and rotate care of boarding and sick animals over the weekends. We have a good quality local emergecy hospital and do not take emergency call during closed hours. We’re located about 40 minutes from Auburn University VTH and often refer our complicated or critical cases. Our facility is a free standing veterinary hospital built in 2006. We are well equipped with two surgical tables, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and in house laboratory. We work collaboratively on most cases and have veterinarians ranging from 30+ years experience to 3 years experience. We are located just north of Columbus, Georgia in Harris County. Harris County is a suburban community that is the home of Callaway Gardens, FDR State park and has excellent public schools. Columbus is easy driving distance and has a thriving downtown with whitewater rafting, amazing restaurants, live music, performing arts, craft beer and lots more. Columbus is a very active community and there’s always something to do!
