Paws & Claws Animal Hospital is a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital located in the heart of Damascus, Maryland.  We are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to add to our growing practice.  New graduates are encouraged to apply. We have two excellent mentors that love to teach and discuss cases. New graduates will be provided with a mentor dedicated to fostering professional development and offering guidance. Our full-service animal hospital offers first-rate care for our patients, including electronic patient records, digital radiography, and in-house laboratory equipment. Skills and required qualifications: 

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university  

• Licensure in good standing to practice in the State of Maryland 

• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Models a Professional and courteous demeanor with staff and clients 

• Commitment to ongoing professional and educational development and growth
