Minimum of 1 week stints in internal medicine service at Oklahoma State Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital. Longer, repeat service welcome. Duties: run small animal internal medicine service (primary and referral cases), provide backup emergency duty for interns; clinical instruction for year 4 veterinary students. Boarded or board-eligible in Small Animal Internal Medicine (SAIM). Completed a residency in SAIM. The locum would be running the service with nursing staff and half of the students enrolled in the rotation (4-5 students in the hospital at a time). Locum would be responsible for conducting on-line daily rounds of the cases seen that day with the students at home and in the hospital. There will be no SAIM residents, so locum will be backup to small animal interns for after hour internal medicine emergencies.

Knowledge or skills in small animal internal medicine practice; willing to teach clinical year 4 veterinary students.
