Located among the beauty of Penn State University and Centre County, this well established, two doctor companion animal hospital seeks an energetic, hard working veterinary technician to join their close knit team. Experience is necessary and credentials a plus. The ideal person is a positive, compassionate, friendly team player focused on exceptional customer service and patient care. This practice is dedicated to the highest standards of veterinary medicine with a focus on knowing clients well and taking the time to support them through every state of their pet's life.
Mornings and evening shift flexibility needed and staff rotates through any weekend/holiday duties. Familiarity with Windows based computer programs, handling client payments and professionalism on the phone is essential. The right candidate will have experience restraining cats and dogs for various procedures and be on board with Fear Free practices. Surgical assisting, digital and dental x-ray experience a plus. Some general cleaning and lifting up to 30lbs expected. Salary will be based on experience and fit with team. Certain benefits may be available dependent on longevity with the practice.
