We are seeking candidates for a Full-time Veterinarian position Our clinic is a well established mixed-animal practice, predominantly small animal, which has demonstrated continual & substantial growth for past 25 years. The practice was purchased by the present Owner, Dr. Kerry Newman, in 1995. Dr. Newman has over 35 years experience and is a graduate of Texas A&M University. We are a family-owned and operated business. Our staff consists of the Owner/Veterinarian, Practice Manager, (4) Veterinary Technicians, (2) Receptionists and (1) Kennel Technicians. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree is required from an accredited university. Applicants must be licensed to practice in the State of Texas, be in good standing with the state board, have excellent people skills, good computer skills and be willing to work as a team member alongside all of the staff. Must be willing to work a 5 to 5-1/2 day work week with alternating Saturday mornings (includes Associate having an afternoon off every week). Applicant must also be willing to handle after-hours emergency calls on a rotating weekly basis, therefore, must live within 20 minute drive of the clinic.

Base salary is guaranteed and Associate shall have opportunity to receive production bonus on a quarterly basis.

Our clinic is predominantly small animal but also provides large animal services. We offer a variety of wellness and preventative care services, routine surgeries such as spays, neuters, declaws (including laser surgery procedure), laser therapy, in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, digital radiology, hospitalization and intensive care, equine and small animal dental procedures, microchips, indoor climate controlled boarding facilities (including a dedicated "Cats Only"), grooming/bathing services and are also equipped to provide mobile farm/ranch/house calls. Our clinic offers after-hours emergency "on-call" services.
