| Long Island Veterinary Specialists (LIVS) in Plainview, NY is seeking Emergency Veterinarians to join our growing Emergency Department. We offer a fully equipped ICU that is staffed 24 hours. This position offers a three day work week with a combination of weekday, weekend and overnight shifts. Our veterinary specialty and emergency center is a bustling 30,000 square ft., well-established AAHA certified specialty hospital that has been serving our community for over 20 years. With a staff of over 160 enthusiastic professionals, the Emergency Clinician at LIVS will work amongst published, world-renowned specialists in a variety of disciplines including Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Surgery, and Rehabilitation. Our diagnostic technologies including Philips 3 Tesla MRI, GE Lightspeed 64 slice multi-detector CT scanner, three Idexx blood lab stations, two digital radiography suites, in-house fluoroscopy suite, and a dedicated ultrasound for the emergency service. LIVS is located in Nassau County, Long Island; which offers both the big city and small town feeling.
