About This Role
As a Veterinary Professional you already have a pretty good idea as to the day-to-day requirements of being a great Veterinarian. Here are just a few of the key tasks that you will be contributing to together with the rest of our team:
Examine and triage pets to determine service and treatment eligibility and recommend referrals, as needed, for best practice treatment
Consult with direct clients and referring clinics regarding immediate, solutions-based care for their pets
Routine HQHVSN at an advanced level – other surgical expertise will also be highly regarded to support Special Medical cases
The ability to prepare and deliver internal best practice Veterinary skills training to the entire team
Actively work with a committee of your peers and leadership to establish veterinary standard operating procedures
You genuinely care for pets, your fellow team members and clients
You have an inquiring and inquisitive mind
You understand that attention to detail and documentation is as essential as great expertise
A strength in spay/neuter surgery skills is essential

Tuesday through Friday schedule with a Saturday rotation

Perform a minimum of 25-30 spay and neuter surgeries daily with a goal of performing 35-40 surgeries each day.
Must have currently (or be willing to obtain in reasonable time) a Missouri license.
Must be willing to obtain (in reasonable time) a DEA license.
Must be a currently licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Must be available full-time Tuesday through Saturday for 35-40 hours/weekly. The typical schedule is as follows:
Saturday: 8:30am - 1:00pm (pending business) --Hours may vary if working an offsite vaccination clinic and will vary depending on Saturday work rotation
Additional Salary Information: Additional salary includes a $1,200 annual reimbursable expense account to be used for business-related expenses at the veterinarian’s discretion including job-related continuing education, textbooks, licensing fees, liability insurance, etc. as well as benefits.
