| I have a diversified mixed practice that has been established for 48 years. This part of Missouri has several clear water streams and lakes along with a lot of state and national forest land. Mountain View has a population of around 2400 but we draw from towns as far as 60 miles from us. We have built our reputation on delivering the best medicine for our patients and service for our clients. Our practice is growing and we average 35-40 new clients a month. Last year we had about 11,000 client visits with approximately 7000 of those being patient visits or surgeries and the remainder being dispensing for both large and small animal clients. The gross of the practice is 48% large animal and 52% small and the services are 67% small and 33% large. The large animal consists mainly of establishing and maintaining heard health programs and providing routine services for our clients. For our companion animal clients, we provide routine services as well as diagnosis and treatment of sick animals. We also do routine and advanced surgery, including orthopedic. We have in house diagnostic equipment for large and small patients, as well as digital and portable x-ray facilities. We do provide emergency services for both our large and small animal clients. I have a very good staff with a total of 8 technicians. Our main technician has been with us for 28 years and 2 others that have been with us for 10 years. Two have been with us for 2-3 years and 2 for a short time. These technicians are very helpful to our patients and clients, as they understand the level of commitment I have to our patients and would also help you know our clients and the level of commitment they expect from our practice. The compensation package will include: Salary negotiable depending on experience, signing bonus, Medical insurance allowance, CE allowance, AVMA dues, BNDD license, Missouri license and Paid vacation.
