River Oaks Animal Hospital is an energetic, young hospital that is set apart by our unique relationship building with our clients and team members. We are growing rapidly and are currently looking for a friendly, talented, and passionate third veterinarian to add to our team. We are focused on improving the client’s experience with enhanced customer service and personalized patient care. Our caseload is challenging and includes radiology, dental, diagnostics, preventive care, and surgery all performed with top of the line equipment. This includes digital standard and dental radiography, IDEXX laboratory equipment, ultrasound, Companion Therapy Laser, Tonovet, and more. We emphasize quality medicine and do not skimp on the details. Our schedule allows our team members to maintain a great work-life balance with 4 day work weeks (8:00a-5:30p), alternate Saturdays (8a-12p), no Sundays, paid holidays off, and no emergency on call. Our next veterinarian must have solid medical knowledge, patient care and communication skills, work efficiently, and have a great sense of humor. Experience is preferred but a motivated new graduate will be considered. Benefits include: competitive salary, paid time off, monthly bonus opportunity, continuing education allowance, allowance for licensing and dues, surgical scrub allowance, retirement plans, AVMA and SCAV association membership, gym membership, and more. All this and you get to live in sunny Myrtle Beach! Myrtle Beach is in the center of a 60 mile stretch of beach known as “The Grand Strand” in South Carolina. It is ranked as the second fastest-growing metropolitan area in the country! Our town is known for excellent outdoor sports such as top golf courses, paddle boarding, surfing, biking, fishing, camping, and kayaking. Myrtle Beach hosts a variety of special events like the Carolina Country Music Fest. The area’s attractions include amusement parks, an aquarium, entertainment venues, shopping, and phenomenal restaurants but still maintains that small town feel. Please give us a call (843) 236-6080 or email your resume (email@example.com).
About River Oaks Animal Hospital
At River Oaks Animal Hospital, you can expect a different type of veterinary visit. I opened the hospital after realizing the need for personalized pet care and attentiveness to the pet parent. This stemmed directly from my own experience with pediatrician offices and my desire for them to “know” my children, not just see them as the next appointment. It dawned on me that pet parents were looking for the same experience. So the philosophy of excellent customer service, personalized pet care, and relationship building was born.
I completely understand the joy that pets bring to our lives and so my team celebrates that human-animal bond. By educating pet owners and advocating the best possible care for our patients, we demonstrate our commitment to animals, to their family, and to our community. My team is constantly improving themselves so that we can further nurture that bond. In the past couple of years we have certified our team as Fear – Free Certified and will soon be the first Human-Animal Bond Certified clinic in Horry County.
Pets are only half of the equation, their guardians are the other half and making a visit to my hospital a great experience is my passion. In tod...ay’s society, customer service is a dying art and we are working hard to turn that around. By focusing on great preventative care, educating our clients on their options, and providing progressive medical services, we are the dream team.
