Honey Brook Animal Hospital is seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time associate for our busy small animal and exotic practice in Chester County, PA.
We pride ourselves on our caring client service and quality medicine and surgery. We offer preventive medicine, diagnostics (in-house laboratory and digital radiography), a wide variety of soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dental services, reproduction services, emergency service and have room to expand.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for veterinary medicine and client service; who is committed to providing outstanding, compassionate patient and client care. Someone who enjoys the challenge of general practice and the clients they serve. We seek a veterinarian who enjoys problem solving and helping clients through interesting and challenging cases; who can communicate clearly and effectively with clients and staff and develop preventive medicine and diagnostic/treatment plans after determining the needs of the patient and the wishes of the client. Strong interest and/or ability in soft tissue/orthopedic surgery is a plus. USDA certification helpful.
We have a recently remodeled hospital with 4 exam rooms, surgical suite, dental room(digital x-ray in process), IDEXX lab equipment (Procyte, Catalyst, Sedivue, Snapshot Dx), Cornerstone, digital x-ray.
Compensation is based on experience and ability but will include PTO, CE allowance, uniforms/scrubs, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) (with up to 4% match), license fees and dues. Potential for future partnership/ownership.
The position requires excellent communications skills with clients, staff, and peers; the ability to interpret diagnostics as it relates to history; orthopedic and soft tissue surgery skills or the willingness to learn/expand; excellent prioritization and time management skills.
