We are a 2-doctor, full-service AAHA-certified Cat Friendly Gold Certified and soon to be Fear Free Certified animal hospital and boarding kennel that specializes in providing high quality, compassionate and convenient care for our patients. We recognize the importance of the relationships between humans and animals and we see our clients and patients as extended family. We provide many services such as veterinary medical, dental and surgical services, preventive medicine, health maintenance, boarding, grooming and emergency services. We also offer a variety of holistic treatments. Our practice also treats ferrets, rabbits, pocket pets and some large animals.
Successful candidates must be well-versed in Human Resources, have great people skills, is focused on quality care and assuring client satisfaction. We are looking for just the right person who has leadership qualities and the desire to lead our team. Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is required; experience with AVImark is preferred. At least 3 years of veterinary experience is required. Individuals interested in the position must be compassionate, cheerful, possess strong leadership skills and have a good work ethic.
Responsibilities include day-to-day operations with major focus on strong personnel management responsibilities including hiring, training and leading the team. A strong commitment to client service skills is imperative to be successful in this position. Other valuable experience includes strong initiative, enjoyment of a job well done, ability to work independently, knowledge of accounts receivable, experience holding staff meetings and conducting performance reviews.
