Alpine Animal Hospital located in the beautiful Palouse country of Eastern Washington State is hiring a full time veterinarian for companion animal medicine and surgery. We have in house laboratory, digital xray and digital dental xray units, IM3 dental unit, Companion therapy laser, ultrasound to assist in diagnosis. Surgery and dentistry have patient monitoring equipment to keep pets safe while anesthetized. We do not require on call duty for nights or weekends having an emergency clinic close by. ( Unless the veterinarian wants to take emergencies for special clients.) Pullman, Washington is a university town,home of Washington State University. Just 6 miles across the Idaho border is the University of Idaho so we have a lot of young, enthusiastic students in our communities. Alpine also offers dog and cat boarding, dog and cat grooming and puppy and beginning dog obedience classes.
We would really like a veterinarian who enjoys surgery and will do some orthopedic procedures. And we really would like a veterinarian who enjoys cats and wants to make their vet visits as friendly and fear free as possible. We would like a veterinarian who has some experience in practice but we are willing to mentor a new graduate. Must have Washington State Veterinary license and be a graduate of an accredited college of veterinary medicine. Must have their own DEA license. A fine sense of humor and ability to direct staff are very important.
