Looking for a full or part-time veterinarian that likes to think outside the box, engage and educate their clients and is looking to embrace the practice and provide leadership to the team. New graduates that are mature and confident are encouraged to apply. Would like to have an associate that wants mentorship but also can work independently on cases. Our practice follows the "Golden rule" and is very client/patient centered. We embrace the servant leadership attitude and are looking for a candidate that shares the same mentality.
This practice is well established, but under recent/new ownership. This change has caused an incredible amount of growth and additional doctor support is needed to maintain a high level of care. The ideal candidate would be a natural teacher at heart, is a team player in all aspects, laid back but professional, can laugh at themselves, is thorough with all patients, works up cases, treats all patients like they were their own and refers when necessary.
While we primarily see cats and dogs, we also have a small but growing patient population of companion pocket pets, birds and reptiles.
Looking for an individual that has a special interest in internal medicine, orthopedics, behavior medicine, pain management and shares a passion for rescue/shelter work.
Granada Animal Hospital has been serving our local Ormond Beach community for over 25 years. In 2015 the practice is under new ownership and the team hit the ground running and has not stopped improving the practice to provide the best care possible for our patients ever since.
Granada Animal Hospital is not owned by a corporate entity like many other local veterinary hospitals, but is local...ly owned and staffed. Unlike many veterinary hospitals that are practice or doctor centered, we are very much client/patient centered and will do whatever we can to improve the pet's health and the client's experience.
We believe strongly in animal rescue and have many rescue/shelter relationships. We do whatever it takes to help these organizations and provide care to these forgotten animals.
Our team takes pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their guardians. Our team strives to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients and we want everyone, either two legged or four, to feel welcome as soon as they enter our veterinary clinic.
Our hospital opened its doors in 1990 and offers a wide range of medical services and surgeries for dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles and birds.
