The Cat Hospital at Palm Harbor has an opportunity for two feline veterinarians. We have a full-time and a part-time position available.
We are an AAHA-accredited feline hospital with AAFP Gold Standard Certification as a Cat Friendly Practice. Our recently completed facility was carefully designed to create a more positive experience for cats, their people, and our cat care team. Dr. Marrazzo has served on the executive board of the AAFP in the past, and follows AAFP guidelines for patient care. Our patient load is heavily slanted toward feline internal medicine. We do not over-vaccinate. We do not do declaws.
You will be provided with the necessary resources to treat patients with the highest level of care, while enjoying consistent clinical support. In addition to the assistance of a well-trained support team, you will have all the equipment needed to provide a high level of patient care: paperless electronic medical records, Abaxis CBC, chemistry, and I-Stat analyzers, digital dental x-ray, digital x-ray, CO2 laser, and ultrasound.
The practice is on the west coast of Florida, right next to sandy white beaches, and beautiful sunsets every night over the Gulf of Mexico. The climate allows for year-round outdoor activities, and there exists a wide offering of theater, concert venues, and professional sports teams. The local school district is one of the highest ranked districts in the state, and the nearby high school is perennially one of the best rated.
There are excellent local emergency and referral hospitals including Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners that we refer to for patients needing additional or after hours care. A competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan, continuing education, and a strong track record of staff retention help make CHPH an attractive opportunity for the right person.
Whether you are just starting your private practice career, or are an experienced clinician looking for a change, this opportunity provides an open door to explore the next best move in your professional career. We want to talk with you! >^..^<
