Founded in 1988, MedVet is one of the largest veterinarian-owned multispecialty and emergency practices in the country. In January 2015, we announced our expansion into the Gulf Coast of Alabama and eastern Mississippi with the addition of The Animal Emergency and Referral Center of Mobile. The center has been renamed MedVet Mobile and is a locally owned affiliate of MedVet Medical & Cancer Center for Pets. We continue to develop MedVet Mobile into a full-service specialty and emergency center and immediately added a comprehensive array of surgical services and are looking to do the same with internal medicine.
