Ebenezer Animal Hospital is seeking a fourth full time associate veterinarian at our busy small animal and exotics hospital in Rock Hill, SC. Despite our busy schedule, our associate doctors enjoy a very healthy work-life balance. Situated right outside of Charlotte, NC, our hospital has been serving the community since 1946. Voted the best veterinary hospital by the Rock Hill Herald in 2016, Ebenezer Animal Hospital prides itself in offering top quality care to our patients with a dynamic and engaged staff. We are proud to offer our patients digital radiographs (both traditional and dental), therapeutic laser therapy, a diverse pharmacy for therapeutics, a full line of nutraceuticals, digital tonometry, daily surgery with industry standard equipment, a state of the art dental unit, a fully digital hospital, a media savvy and social media centered advertising strategy, whole health plans, grooming, and boarding on site. We are searching for an engaged and passionate veterinarian who has graduated from an AVMA accredited veterinary school. One year of private practice or internship experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply as well. Applicant must be in the Rock Hill and/or Charlotte, NC area or willing to relocate upon acceptance of position. About 10% of our patients seen are exotics. Familiarity in these species is not required, but desired. Basic surgical proficiency in spay and neuter procedures is required, with additional opportunity for more advanced soft tissue procedures available. Successful applicant will have a set schedule of four days during the week with a mixture of morning and evening hours (the day off will be static). Weekend schedule will consist of working every third Saturday. Salary is negotiable but is based on the typical structure of base salary and base salary plus commission. Our associate doctors are highly productive shortly after becoming established!
Additional Salary Information: We offer all three salary options: Base salary, base plus commission, and full commission depending on comfort level. Most of our full time doctors make well beyond a base salary.
Established in 1946, Ebenezer Animal Hospital serves the Rock Hill, SC community and surrounding Charlotte, NC suburbs. We are a 4 doctor hospital that sees approximately 90% companion animals and 10% exotics. Services offered include wellness examinations and whole health plans, soft tissue surgeries, limited orthopedic surgeries, dental procedures with digital dental radiography, hospitalizati...on, emergency care, and consultations. Other unique services include therapeutic laser treatments. We have access to in house CBC and chemistry diagnostics (including fructosamine, UPC, T4), a wide array of SNAP test diagnostics, digital radiography, ultrasound, and referral laboratories for more extensive diagnostic tests. We are 20-40 minutes away from several 24 hour emergency facilities and frequently refer advanced internal medicine and surgical cases to Carolina Veterinary Specialists and Charlotte Animal Referral and Emergency (CARE). We have a cohesive team of doctors, technicians (including a LVT), receptionists, and kennel assistants to serve our clients. Our hospital is in the process of becoming AAHA Certified. We also offer a full service of grooming and boarding on site. The hospital is owned by a team consisting of a veterinarian and a practice manager.
