Manager of Regional Operations
National Veterinary Associates has a multi-site leadership opportunity for an experienced veterinary practice management professional. This opportunity provides the right candidate the ability to utilize all of their leadership skills, in support of approximately 25 veterinary hospitals, while joining a company that is committed to the veterinary industry with a culture of service, collaboration, innovation, and fun. The Manager of Regional Operations works under the supervision of, and reports directly to, the Division Leader.
The Manager of Regional Operations is responsible for supporting veterinary hospitals within the division in the areas of operations, hospital leader development, financial management, marketing and client relations. The MRO operates in collaboration with the NVA Support Center and the Division Leader in support of the hospital teams. NVA believes that veterinary medicine is best practiced when local veterinary leaders craft their own hospital and community-specific strategies for high quality patient care and client service. Therefore the MRO must adopt Servant Leadership principles to help craft unique solutions for each hospital within the division.
Candidates must have veterinary hospital management experience (minimum of 5 years), and proven leadership abilities. As a multi-site and remote leadership position, candidates must have the ability to travel a minimum of 50-75% of the time. This position supports approximately 25 hospitals in Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, and Southern Illinois.
Key Qualifications include the ability to be self-directed and work independently, foster and maintain excellent relationships throughout the structure of NVA, demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills, excellent project management ability, and can function as a practice management consultant in providing feedback and coaching toward improvement.
