The job requires a motivation to practice "front-line" veterinary medicine. Interest in developing a dental program for the practice a plus.
We would like for you to consider this practice if you are looking at a career as a small animal veterinarian. The two full-time veterinarians currently at the practice produce more than 1.2 million in gross receipts annually, with each veterinarian responsible for about 1/2 that total. A base salary will be offered, but 20-25% of production is expected to surpass this base amount.
We are progressive in our attitudes , though conservative in our approaches. No emergency duty will be required. However, practice development will always be a necessary ingredient to a growing relationship.
We offer advanced care for sickness and injury, but have a strong referral network locally for consultation.
The senior clinician is also the practice/facility owner. An interest in developing the practice will insure a smooth transition to the new owner, if practice ownership is your goal.
A full-time practitioner who does not have an interest in ownership will also be considered. Corporate offers to purchase the practice have been considered, but a traditional veterinarian/owner environment is preferred for now.
