Dr. Jeff LaHuis is a 1995 graduate of Michigan State University. He also holds a BS in Animal Science from MSU as well. Dr. Jeff is also a veteran of OIF, having served in the US ARMY Veterinary Corps, attaining the rank of Major. Dr. Jeff is strong on mentoring new grads and helping them achieve their full potential.

Job duties include routine medicine and surgery, 5 day work week (no Saturday office hours), shared emergency duty (emergency fee paid to vet- currently 110$) And a drive to be the best vet you can be!

Additional Salary Information: Salary is pro/sal, with a base of 70,000.

Our staff has been with us long term, with an average time of employment of 5 years. The clinic has been operating continuously since 1983. Currently SAH is owned by Dr. Jeff LaHuis, the third owner. Dr. LaHuis has brought large animal services to the clinic and expanded the facility to its present size of 5700 sqft, with an ICU ward, boarding facility and surgery suite.
