Our hospital has two locations, about ten minutes apart, and this job would be for both locations. We have the same staff and split the week between the two locations. We are small animal exclusive, with some exotics. This practice has been in business for over 30 years in a small town rural area, with a very close knit community. Previous owner recently retired, so we are down to a single veterinarian at present. Looking to hire a veterinary assistant with a good attitude, hard work ethic, and drive to learn. Many responsibilities available for those who want to advance. We are looking to hire another veterinarian in the near future also, so while this job is listed for part time, there is alot of fill-in opportunities, and possibly full time with the addition of a second vet. Responsibilities range from reception to technician roles.
